Dictée pour l’intégration

Thursday, May 17, 2018 18:30-21:30, University of Geneva-Bastions
Organizer(s):
  • Claire Zendali

The Palais Wilson Rotary Club, which has selected education as its theme for the 2017/2018 year, is organizing a friendly and charitable event on May 17 at the University of Geneva-Bastions. Funds raised will be fully dedicated to literacy projects carried out by the Geneva-based association Camarada for women migrants.

Learning to integrate requires language and social skills. Mastering the language of the host country is the first essential step. For these people, basic knowledge in their own language is often lacking. An adapted approach, allowing the simultaneous acquisition of basics of communication and living together, offers keys to a successful integration. It is a bet on the future, in favor of which education and training occupy a central place.

The chosen text will be dictated by Mrs. Ruth Dreifuss, former President of the Confederation.

Each participant will be requested to make a contribution of at least 10 CHF.
