We will have a conference by Mr. Dêlidji Eric Degila, a Senior Researcher at the Global Migration Centre and a Research Associate at the Graduate Institute’s Global Governance Centre, on conflict dynamics in contemporary sub-Saharan Africa.

Initially trained as a diplomat at Benin’s National School of Administration, Mr. Degila received a doctorate in Political Science/International Relations from the Jean Moulin University Lyon 3 in France. He was a Visiting Professor of African Politics at Komajo and Waseda universities in Japan, and has also given lectures at Sciences Po Lyon, Singapore Management University, Jean Moulin Lyon 3 University, Abomey-Calavi University, and the African University of Technology and Management of Benin. Mr. Degila specializes in international security and armed conflicts, state-building in Africa, diplomacy and global governance, geopolitics, and African regionalism.
